As you know needy individuals and families in our community go without proper food, shelter, and the essential medical care every day due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, age, domestic violence, and or divorce.
While all of us are susceptible to hard times, children, elderly, and military families coming home are at the most risk, and they make up the largest number of clients we serve.
With the generous support of folks like you, we will be able to help many of these families and individuals, not only to meet essential daily needs, but assist them in working toward a brighter future with our programs.
Our Annual Trooper Pat Bartram Memorial Hero’s Helping Hero’s Motorcycle Ride is scheduled for July 11th 2015. We are seeking items that can be donated for our Auction. Proceeds go towards our Trooper Bartram Christmas for Kids (Shop with a Cop), Trooper Teddy Bears, and Traumatic Loss/In Need Assistance. Monetary donations are also accepted and appreciated.
The reason this program is so dear to my heart is my brother, Trooper James (Pat) Bartram, was one of the officers who took the kids shopping every year. He was killed in the line of duty and we started helping out with programs just like this because we know how much it meant to the kids.
